St. Louis
Our cities combine unique urban flair and all the resources of a modern metropolis within an easy drive of the countryside. In St. Louis, if you’d like to get away without leaving the city, you can do it all in Forest Park, one of the nation’s largest urban parks. Forest Park is home to the Saint Louis Zoological Park, the Municipal Theater , the St. Louis Science Center, the Saint Louis Art Museum, the Missouri History Museum, and more than 1300 acres of open space. Kansas City is best known for its jazz, blues, and food, but it is home to dozens of museums and cultural festivals, world-class theater, and one of the country’s best symphony orchestras.
Lake of the Ozarks
If you’re in the mood for sports, Missouri doesn’t disappoint. We host eleven professional sports teams, including two NFL franchises, two Major League Baseball teams, and the NHL’s St. Louis Blues. If you prefer college sports, the University of Missouri’s rivalry with the University of Kansas is legendary.
Weather
Climate varies greatly depending on location and elevation, but our winters are generally fairly cold, with moderately warm summers. Kansas City’s average July high is 89 degrees, while its nighttime January low is 16. Temperatures in the mountains are much cooler.
