You know the market has changed when real estate developers start building. Portland II (AKA Portland 2) condominiums are on the rise and offering downtown Phoenix home buyers a new option.
The new development at Portland 2 is phase two. The initial condos at Portland II came to market in 2007-2008 just as the market turned south and builders put the brakes on new development.
Phase two at Portland 2 mirrors the original development with new options for the top, 4th floor. Let’s take a look at what your find at Portland II.
2-3 Bedrooms. The third bedroom is a new option on the top floor.
2 Baths
1,584 to 1,985 square feet, a bit larger than many other downtown condos.
2 Car Tandem Garage. Tandem is where the cars are stacked verses side-by-side.
If you would like to see this project just let us know and we’ll arrange an appointment with the builder. We have great experience negotiating with the builder’s agents and keeping home buyers safe and well represented.

We’ve been working on a huge project on our downtown Phoenix real estate site involving condos, lofts, and townhouses. Our goal is to offer commentary and information about the nearly 50 different projects in the downtown Phoenix region.
So far we have reviewed a large number of the condo. townhouse and loft communities including:
One Lexingon, Tapestry on Central, Portland Place, Loft at Fillmore, Summit at Copper Square, 3rd Avenue Palms, 44 Monrow, Artisan Lofts, Chateau on Central, Landmark Towers, Executive Towers, Orpheum Lofts and more.
We anticipate this to be a never ending project since by the time we photograph, explore, analyze and write each article we’ll have to go back and offer updates… a bit like painting the Golden Gate bridge.
Anyway, we have a link below to our downtown Phoenix condo, loft and town home page. If you have questions or want to take a look at a unit in one of these places, give us a call or drop us an email. We’ll make it happen for you.
We like to keep everyone updated on the various historic home tours in Phoenix AZ. We are pretty proud of the the historic homes in the area. Our homes are not as old as many in the east, heck we just celebrated our State’s centennial. None the less, we have some very sweet homes and you’ll see them at the 2012 Windsor Square Historic Home and Garden Tour.
The Windsor Square tour happens on odd numbered years, so if you miss it this time you’ll be waiting till 2014. Naturally, you don’t want to do that.
We have posted all the dates, times, information, ticket price, where to buy tickets, where to park and more info on our sister site. The link below will take you there and we hope to see you. We’ll be the real estate guys answering questions about Windsor’s history and taking pictures of the event.

After a recent home sale we received an email from our client who was relocating out of state. She said:
Sam and I just want you to know that we really appreciate what great realtors you are. We are currently purchasing a home here in Fort Collins, CO. We went with a realtor that was highly recommended by several friends. Let’s just say, he does not even come close to providing the quality of service that you did. Sam and I feel like we are navigating this purchase on our own. So, we just wanted to say “Thank you!” If you ever need any references etc…, never hesitate to call on us.
We would be honored to be chosen to market and sell your home. We will do all we can to ensure you are not just happy but delighted like a kid with a new bike, a girl being asked to the prom, or finding you have a winning lottery number. Regency House Condominiums in is a true landmark in downtown Phoenix, AZ. The 22 story luxury condo tower offers its residents steller views of the city and nearby mountains as well as access to all things downtown including:
The Heard Museum
The Metro Light Rail
Incredible Restaurants
Great Shopping
Art Museums and Galleries
Sporting Events
Cultural Venues and much more.
A View From The Penthouse
In 2005 the homeowners began a large scale renovation project encompassing visual, structural and mechanical updates and improvements.
The first Regency House project was an update and redesign of the lobby area. The result was simply wonderful combining tasteful mid-century modern accents and a pictorial history of the downtown Phoenix area.
A couple years ago the Regency House homeowners approved a 2.5 million dollar project to update the structural integrity of the building as well as several mechanical systems. This ambitious plan, known as the Big Project, is a three phase venture designed to bring the building back to its original splendor.
We are told by the homeowners association that Phase One of the Big Project is just about complete with significant underground improvements completed and the new cooling tower, chiller and boilers being installed in the next few weeks.
We applaud the homeowners for their vision and commitment to Regency House. No doubt the cost to complete phase one was not cheap and solely bore by the people who call Regency House home. Your efforts and sacrifice are recognized and appreciated by those who love downtown Phoenix, its mid-century modern buildings and especially the people who made life in the “core” quite special.
Thank you so very much,
