As you might have heard, there are some changes happening with the National Association of Realtors (NAR). We’re here to help you navigate these changes and make the process as smooth and straightforward as we always have.

What the New Settlement Means for Tucson Home Sellers:

You Can Still Offer A Buyer Broker Compensation: You have the option to offer compensation to brokers who bring buyers to your home. You may consider doing this as a way of marketing your home or making your listing more attractive to buyers.

Clear and Honest Compensation Disclosure: We will always inform you and get your approval for any compensation offered to a buyer’s broker. This will be done in writing before any agreements are made, so you’ll always be in the know.

New Ways to Handle Compensation Offers:

• If you choose to offer compensation, it won’t be listed on the MLS (Multiple Listing Service).
• But–Your agent can still promote your home on other platforms like social media, flyers, sign riders, and on a personalized listing page! 
• Previously, all forms of compensation went through the listing broker. With these new developments the buyer’s broker can now instead be paid by either the seller, or even the buyer themselves.
