Dawn Spencer Kilby -- together with her son, Sean -- make up The Kilby Team with Realty Executives of Hickory and Lake Norman. The Kilby Team brings decades of local real estate expertise to buyers and sellers looking to make a move across the Hickory area.

Since 1996, Dawn has served her clients under the Realty Executives banner, a name that is synonymous with top productivity and excellence in real estate.

“There was never a question about where to go to work. But the most important thing to me and my husband was the family atmosphere which was all the way to the top. We attended every regional and national convention. The Rectors (company founders) knew us by name,” Dawn said.

Born and raised in the Catawba Valley area, Dawn and her team know the neighborhoods inside and out and have received numerous accolades both locally and nationally, including:

• Locally, the team has received recognition from Catawba County Department of Social Services for their first-time homebuyer program participation.
• Dawn has also been named Realtor of the Year by the Catawba Valley Association of Realtors® and has served as a past president and secretary/treasurer of CVAR.
• Dawn has served on numerous CVAR committees and has taught MLS orientation and Ethics classes for CVAR.
