Krista Shortreed

Krista is a recognized and respected professional in the South Central ,Wisconsin Real Estate market. She has been actively selling Real Estate for the last 20 years and was a rental property investor for three years prior to getting her license. Krista has a highly motivating personality and constantly strives to provide a team atmosphere in which her fellow agents are able to continually learn and strive in the ever changing market.

Krista is a member of of National Association of Realtors, Wisconsin Association of Realtors, Rock-Green MLS, and has been active at the local level holding positions on the Ethics Board and Advisory Committee. She is also the newest inductee, 2015, to the REBAC Hall of Fame at the National level for her extensive commitment as a Buyer's Agent. She is a 15 year Real Estate Presenter for the Blackhawk Region First Time Home Buyer Classes. She was most recently recognized as one of the top three finalist for Best Realtor for The Best of Janesville.

Krista has volunteered her time in the community by ring bells for the Salvation Army, Echo Food Drive, School Supply Drive, Bags of Hope, Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts of America ,  and Special Olympics Volunteer. 

Krista has a strong knowledge of local and state grant programs and prides herself on finding the most conducive programs for her clients.

Krista has been married over 30 years to Timothy, a local Mortgage Lender, and they have three children Lauren, Evan (Becca) , and Natalie.
