Maryam Shabazz - Biography

Maryam Shabazz, licensed Realtor since 1979. My experience is Residential, Investment Property, 1031 Exchange, Short Sale & Foreclosures Resource, and Pistachio Orchards. I've served on and chaired numerous boards and committees and received many awards for my service. I was President of The Merced County Assn of Realtors in 2000. As a Director I chaired The EOCD Committee at The California Association of Realtors in 2003; this is where I met some of the brightest minds in real estate. I continue to praise God for that experience! I have a extensive history in real estate, too much to write in this small space:-). But I'd be happy to share my background with you. I continue to serve my board as a member of the finance committee. I'm also on the board of directors for The Coalition for Affordable Housing. My goal is to continue to serve my clients better through media marketing and helping buyers find the best home for the best price. Real Estate is my passion! I've served Merced to Madera counties for many years. I enjoy working with sellers and helping them to market and price their home. My experience over the years allows me to have experienced several different markets. I have the ablility and resources to help the seller get the highest price and the best qualifed buyer. This helps to make the sale of the home go a lot smoother and this means less stress for the seller. My office works as a team of professionals and many of our listings are sold in house! I take pride in putting my client's needs first and making sure they are informed thoroughout the process of listing to sold.

I still get excited when a buyer finds that special home. The buyer needs to be guided throughout the purchase process and kept informed at every step. The buyers have a double learning curb one with the lender and one with the purchase of the home. I have the knowledge and experience help the buyer through the buying process. I want the buyer to keep me as their Realtor for life and I keep that in mind from the time we first meet until we close the escrow!
