I'm a fifth-generation Kansan and a graduate of the University of Kansas. Rock Chalk Jayhawk! I've been very involved in the communities of Wyandotte, Leavenworth and Johnson counties as an elected official and community volunteer for about three decades.
I've been married to my husband, Dan, for almost 38 years, we have three grown daughters who are all married and four adorable grandchildren, with #5 due in September 2016.
I am licensed in Kansas and Missouri and have a lot of community involvement experience in Wyandotte, Leavenworth and Johnson counties in Kansas.
I have extensive local and state government experience, building constitutencies, working with elected officials and staff regarding economic development proposals, zoning, etc.
