Darrell Tipton

Darrell Tipton has over 35 years of Real Estate experience in Blount County ranging from affiliate broker to managing broker to owner.   In the spring of 2015 the company in which Darrell was an owner for 17 years, Realty III, merged with Realty Executives Associates as the Downtown Maryville office.

During his real estate career, Darrell has listed and sold millions of dollars of Real Estate in Blount County and surrounding areas. He knows that the market is ever changing and strives to stay abreast of the latest advances in technology and methods that enable him to serve his client’s needs in a professional and efficient manner.

Darrell has an extensive history of serving the community.  Some of the groups he has served include Blount County Commission as Chairman pro-tem, Chairman of the Smoky Mountain Visitors Bureau, Chairman of the Emergency Communication District, and Chairman of the Greater Knoxville BBB.

Darrell’s roots in Blount County run deep.  His 5^th Great-grandfather was William (Fighting Billy) Tipton, one of the original owners of Cades Cove.  William Tipton’s father was Col. John Tipton, who is best known for his part in the Battle of the State of Franklin.

While Residential property makes up most of Darrell’s portfolio, as a member of the Commercial MLS, he is well-qualified and experienced to serve the needs of commercial clients.
