Professional Experience

Tim Martinez has over 25 years of experience in a mix of real estate development, real estate brokerage, consulting, and manufacturing. He has negotiated transactions involving millions of square feet and complex supply agreements with international clients. Tim understands the needs of space occupiers and the constantly evolving North American market.

Tim has been a two-term president of a Board of Realtors in NE Wisconsin and led the change from manual reporting to automated reporting through computer software. His accomplishments include bringing mortgage origination directly to the customer through online applications.

As a manufacturer of upstream aluminum products Tim negotiated with Swedish, Canadian, Brazilian, Chinese, Welsh and Slovenian manufacturers. He has had the opportunity to gain first-hand knowledge of operations of manufacturing plants around the world. He has directly and indirectly purchased over 1.3 million square feet of heavy industrial property.

As a young U.S. Army officer, he has had the good fortune of being called upon to assist in the development of the very first refugee camp in Northern Iraq. This involved providing basic living arrangements for over 25,000 people, and that, in a space of only 10 days preparation!

A focus, he is particularly interested in is developing opportunities for clients in ways that others may overlook. Whether it is distressed asset repositioning, or value-added co-location, he is always interested in exceeding stakeholder expectations.

• Bachelor of Arts Degree – Economics, University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, 1988
• Tim also holds a Wisconsin Dwelling Contractor Qualifier license. This Wisconsin credential is the same license used by homebuilders to draw building permits.  Many clients appreciate working with Tim because of his in-depth knowledge of mechanical systems.

Significant Accomplishments

• Developed residential subdivisions from vacant land through custom home construction – tens of thousands of square feet.
• Site selection for key community assets including churches, medical, retail and assembly.
• Strategic board-level consulting.
• Cited in WSJ, USA Today, and trade Journals.
• Raised over 40 teenage foster girls. Hosted international students from Korea and China.
