Originally built-in 1905, the story of e2 Studios actually begins earlier than that, in 1883, when French winemaker Jean-Louis Vignes brought the first European vines from his native Bordeaux and planted them in Downtown Los Angeles and built a winery. e2Studios later became the home of Vignes Winery for over a decade. Then it changed hand to become the headquarters of Southern Pacific Railroad for freight loading platform and served material handling, followed by the distribution warehouse for Anheuser Busch. Thereafter Tool & Supply Bag company, a leather goods company took over the building and added their own footprint on it. Almost a century later, the space was tastefully reimagined and modernized into what is now “e2 Studios.”
