Apache Ridge Ranch West Texas is worth the drive because you can finally escape the hustle and bustle of the masses and stretch your eyes over some incredible landscape! To the north and east, you can see the Black Mountains and even get a glimpse of the Guadalupe Mountains in the distance, bringing a romantic feel to the desert landscape. The area was once home to the Apache Indians, and it feels like nothing much has changed since they roamed the land. The ranch is rolling to semi-mountainous with several draws running generally to the north and east. The ranch is watered by one water well and six earth stock tanks. Hunting on the ranch, while challenging, will surely be just as rewarding with whitetail, mule deer, antelope, blue quail, and perhaps an Aoudad or Elk. Also, there is just about any type of cactus you can imagine creating a very diverse habitat with an incredible amount of rugged beauty. Additionally, there is a set of wooden pens on the south end of the ranch which are also in good working condition.
