That road has been closed since September 30, 2024 due to high water levels.  There are abandoned tram lines that were used for cypress tree logging in the mid 1900s and some people use those for hiking.  The area is mostly all conservation and the State of Florida owns a large majority of the parcels. There are no buildings except a few small hunting camps.  Great for hunters, hikers and nature enthusiasts.
