Dawn Spencer Kilby -- together with her son, Sean -- make up The Kilby Team with Realty Executives of Hickory and Lake Norman. The Kilby Team brings decades of local real estate expertise to buyers and sellers looking to make a move across the Hickory area.
Since 1996, Dawn has served her clients under the Realty Executives banner, a name that is synonymous with top productivity and excellence in real estate.
“There was never a question about where to go to work. But the most important thing to me and my husband was the family atmosphere which was all the way to the top. We attended every regional and national convention. The Rectors (company founders) knew us by name,” Dawn said.

My teams services all of Catawba County, Iredell County, Caldwell County, Burke County, Lincoln County and Alexander County.
Our primary focus is residential properties including new construction, resale homes, vacant land, townhomes, condos and multi-family. We enjoy working with investors in locating homes to remodel and resale or retain as rentals. We work very closely with Western Piedmont Council of Governments and their first time buyer program. We work with many lakefront and golf community buyers and sellers as well. I have obtained the following designations and enjoy utilizing the knowledge gained by being a Graduate - Realtor Institute, Accredited Buyer's Representative, Senior Real Estate Specialist, At Home With Diversity, Certified Residential Specialist and others that are non-NAR designations. We list, market and sell foreclosure and REO properties as well as short sale properties.
