Sometimes, one of the perks of the job is research. So when a client reached out to me asking for gluten-free restaurant recommendations, I took my job very seriously!
Here is a list of favorites as reviewed by both Yelp and yours truly:
Rehab Burger Therapy have a locations in Phoenix and Tempe. You can get any of their burgers with a gluten-free bun or you can go "protein style" if you prefer. I personally recommend the Hangover Burger with a gluten-free bun and sweet potato tots.
With 18 locations in Arizona, there is probably a Fired Pie in your neighborhood! This place is perfect for a quick lunch and you can get gluten free crust for any of their creations.
True Food Kitchen is one of my personal favorites! The menu changes frequently to make sure the food is always in season, and you can't beat the service at any of their locations. Be sure to try their "Refreshers" as well. Their Kale Aid with kale, ginger, apple, celery, and cucumber is my favorite!
Picazzo's have won the Best Of Phoenix award for Best Gluten-Free restaurants two years in a row. Their menu is almost exclusively gluten-free and they also have menus for other food sensitivites. Their lunch specials are usually my reason for visiting, but their dinner menu is great too.
Flower Child is a great new restaurant in the Arcadia neighboorhood of Phoenix. I've tried a few things on their menu and their gluten-free mac & cheese is my favorite. They have a beautiful patio with fairy lights, great selections on their menu, and even have an on-line ordering option.
If you're gluten-free, that doesn't mean you have to miss out on the best restaurants in Phoenix!
These are just a few to get you started. Don't worry! I fully intend to continue my research and add to this post as I find new places!
If you have any questions for me, feel free to call or email me.
It's that time of year again! Time to find some indoor activities around the Phoenix/Scottsdale area to keep you (and the kids) cool this summer!
With the temperatures rising, the pool doesn't have to be your only option! There are many activities around our great city that will help you stay cool!
There are a lot of great activities to do with the kids!
The Children's Museum of Phoenix is aimed for kids 10 and younger. It's open 7 days a week and is located in downtown Phoenix. It offers a tricycle car wash, a room for fort-building and an art studio with free crafts and a castle to paint. There's also a special playroom for ages 3 and under, a pool-noodle "forest," a nook with cozy round reading spots, and even a kids grocery store, pizza cafe and car-racing corner. It's very reasonably priced at $11 per person (kids under age 1 are free).
If you're a little more south, the Arizona Museum of Natural History is located in Mesa. This museum offers classes and camps and lets kids pan for gold, experience a brief stay in an old-time jail cell or check out a monsoon-like downpour.
Laser Quest Phoenix is great if you have kids older than 7. Players go on "missions", use code names and attemtp to score as many points as possible in this high-tech game. It's like paintball without the paint!
If you're looking for an activity the whole family can enjoy, try Octane Raceway. This family-friendly center offers extreme go-karting on a 1/3 mile track with high performance 45+ mph kart racing. They also have an arcade, a mini bowling area, and a full restraunt and bar. Perfect for a day of family fun!
I'd love to help you find your dream home in this great city!
