Rob Heming

While starting his career in real estate in 2001, Rob spent more than 20 years managing large children's camps, conference centres and outdoor recreational businesses, including the following:

• Executive Director - Wye Marsh Wildlife Centre, Midland, Ontario
• Co-Director - Camp Tawingo, Huntsville, Ontario
• Managing Director, Bark Lake Leadership Centre, Haliburton, Ontario 
• Camping and Outdoor Education Consultant, Ontario Ministry of Tourism and Recreation, Toronto, Ontario
• Director, YMCA Wanakita, Haliburton, Ontario

In the 1990s and early 2000s, Rob also taught part-time for more than 10 years at Sir Sandford Fleming College in the Eco-Tourism Management Program. This post-graduate course certified students to work in the burgeoning eco-tourism industry.  

Assisting not-for-profit organizations in board and volunteer development has always been important, and he continues to work with many organizations in this area.

As a past president and board member of our local real estate board, he has worked diligently to represent members' interests and further the professionalism of the realtor.
