NIAGARA FALLS- Realty Executives International kicked off the summer with its inaugural Eastern Canada Conference from May 27-28.
The conference played a key role for agents and brokers looking to connect and network with their colleagues from around the country.
The event which was held at the Marriott on the Falls in Niagara Falls, Ontario hosted brokers and agents from brokerages in Ontario, Saskatchewan and Manitoba.
The two-day conference began with a cocktail party and networking reception Sunday evening followed by a full day of info sessions and guest speakers, Monday.
Representatives from Realty Executives International began the day by presenting strategies to automate client follow-up and maximize referrals using the proprietary CRM suite.
Following Realty Executives International’s presentation, conference guests had the opportunity to listen to five industry leaders about their stories, market expertise, technology and advancements.

Sara Kalke- real estate agent and coach, Edmonton
Joel Shears- director of mls & Industry development, Zillow
Ryan Hodge- author, coach, and real estate broker, London, Ontario
Gregory Klump- chief economist- Canadian Real Estate Association
Paul Dombowsky- consumer Insights manager, Canadian Real Estate Association
Eric Axiak of Realty Executives Plus Ltd. called the conference a first-class experience that added great value to his business.
“I was able to meet several other Realtors I had not met before,” Axiak said. “This is the most important aspect for me, the networking. It’s proven to increase referrals I receive as well as expand my data base for my clients that may be moving to another city or country. The Realtors I meet in person and connect with, are the ones that receive my referrals, and I give out many each year.”
With the Eastern Canada conference in the books, Realty Executives international is preparing for its East Coast Conference.
The conference will be held August 12-13 at the Ritz-Carlton New Orleans in New Orleans, Louisiana.
