I know a lot about real estate in general, but I have special training or extensive experience in some areas.  These include:

Seniors Real Estate Specialist- I have taken clases in order to earn the SRES designation. This training included instruction on downsizing, working with trusts and advising clients on aging in place. I am currently a member of Jackson County Professionals in Aging, a resource group that meets once a month to focus on issues that affect Seniors.

Short Sale and Foreclosure Specialist-  I have taken classes to earn the SFR designation as a resorce for these special kinds of transactions.

Foreclosures- I do not list foreclosed properties, but I have assisted many buyers in purchasing foreclosed properties. There are certain guidelines that must be met when making offers and negotiating these kinds of properties.

Short Sales- This is a very specialized field. I have assisted home owners who are facing foreclosure to avoid the costs of foreclosure and to be granted the option of selling their home as a short sale. I work with lenders, buyers, sellers and other agents in order to bring about the most positive outcome possible from a very difficult situation.

First Time Home Buyers- So many of my clients have been first time home buyers! What a joy to help someone purchase their very first home! Many first time home buyers do not know how the purchase process works or where to begin. I take great pleasure in explaining the process and referring professionals such as lenders, inspectors and repair services to each of them.

Probate- It is challenging for Trustees and Personal Representatives to dispose of a loved one's assets. I have worked successfully in this field and am a registered CPRES agent.

Investors- Finding a good investment property requires a thorough analysis of the market trends as well as an eye for improvement. I offer a good working knowledge of the rentability or resale of particular properties gained by both experience and market analysis.
