While I was out fetching takeout for my family, it struck me how fortunate we are to have such fabulous dining options right here in Knoxville, Tennessee. This realization spurred a lively discussion on my Facebook page about the best places to eat in town. The enthusiasm was palpable, and with help from my Facebook friends, we've compiled a definitive list of the top 10 restaurants in Knoxville.
Starting the countdown at number ten, Sticky Rice Cafe offers an authentic Laotian cuisine experience in West Knoxville's West Hills area. If you haven’t tried eating rice with your hands, this is your go-to spot. Next up, Litton's Market and Restaurant in North Knoxville tempts with irresistible desserts, a must-try for anyone with a sweet tooth.
In the Bearden area, Knox Farmacy takes the eighth spot, while Copper Cellar boasts two convenient locations to serve you, including one downtown near the University of Tennessee. Mexican food lovers will adore Chuy’s in West Knoxville for a hearty meal, and Tupelo Honey in downtown's Market Square offers biscuits that are simply to die for.
For a diverse dining experience, Seasons Innovative Bar & Grille in the Turkey Creek area, and Louis', known for its delicious pizza and spaghetti in North Knoxville, are fantastic choices (the pizza spagetti is my personal favorite). Not far behind, Kefi in the Old City starts serving at 4 PM daily and is perfect for evening delights. Finally, a tie for first place between Connors in the Turkey Creek area and Lakeside Tavern in Farragut’s Concord Marina, each a testament to Knoxville's vibrant culinary scene.
