LOCATED A SHORT WALK FROM SCOTTSDALE FASHION SQUARE, Casa Blanca is one of Paradise Valley’s most highly sought neighborhoods. And with the new Ritz-Carlton Paradise Valley and upscale Palmeraie Shopping and Dining District opening nearby in 2025, the value of this iconic neighborhood will continue to appreciate.
On November 5 election day, a record-breaking home listed for over $ 42 million went under contract. This is in the guard gated Casa Blanca Estate Homes.
HISTORY The History of the Casa Blanca neighborhood in Paradise Valley is fascinating. It was built for the Donald Kellogg family in the 1920s, by R.T. “Bob” Evans, who also designed the Jokake Inn and other notable Pueblo and Spanish Colonial revival homes in the Camelback Mountain Area.
CELEBRITIES A landing strip was added and it became the Casa Blanca Inn, primarily used by Warner Brothers in the late 1940s as a retreat for celebrities like Marilyn Monroe to enjoy seclusion. The famous resort opened to the public in the early 1950s and continued to operate as a resort through the 1970s.
RESIDENCES In the 1980s the resort was converted to residences with new homes designed by Architect George Christensen. It now consists of custom homes to the North, and a group of Town/Patio homes to the South. Casa Blanca remains an unequaled address with a fantastic location, superb views and rich history.
