The Arabian horse is one of the most versatile breeds, and the Scottsdale Show reflects this with a wide range of events. From Dressage to Western Pleasure, Jumping to Working Cow, Halter, Reining to Country, and English Pleasure, there’s a class for everyone. And don’t forget the highly anticipated Arabian Native Costume event!

The first show was held in 1955 at the Arizona Biltmore Hotel. Later Ann McCormick bought 150 acres in Scottsdale and made it into the horse facility known as Paradise Park. Since moving to WestWorld in Scottsdale, the show grown from 50 horses to nearly 2,400 owners, trainers and breeders from around the world to compete for a chance at winning. A win at Scottsdale can mean big money in the breeding barns.

Scottsdale is home to some of the largest breeders in the world. Arabian Park Drive in the Shea corridor resides Orrion Farms, Royal Arabians, Rae Dawn Arabians, Sahara Scottsdale and Paso Grande Paso Finos to name a few.
