- Paint: It’s one of the cheapest and easiest ways to update your homeland and get it ready to list. Plus, you don’t need to be a pro. A quick Youtube video can help guide you in picking the right colors and making the first step.
- Exterior: Refreshing and boosting curb appeal with fresh mulch and planters with beautiful flowers is a great way to liven up the vibe of your home. Even pressure washing the driveway and sidewalks can make it more presentable.
- Kitchen: Scrub scrub scrub those cabinets, appliances and backsplashes! Install new hardware and light fixtures and if needed, replace the countertops. You don’t need to do a complete reno (unless your agent advises so) but sprucing up your kitchen will really make a difference.
- Bathroom: Keep your bathroom not only clean by F u n c t i o n a l. Repair running toilets and leaky faucets. Consider replacing dingy toilet seats and hardware, if needed.
- Lighting: The brighter the better. Try some breeze curtains or no curtains at all to let in as much light as possible. Great lighting can also truly represent how big and spacious the home is.
- Floors: Freshly refinished floors really set the first impression when walking into a home for the first time. If you can and if need to, consider refinishing your wood floors. Also, the return on investment is very high!
