"18 years ago this month, I decided to leave one of the top conventional real estate companies in Wisconsin where I worked for 10 years. I wanted to be in full control of my own business, make more money per transaction, & be associated with a strong, national real estate brand so I researched many companies. The biggest thing I have learned in the last few years is the value of contacting past clients and even sphere of influence contacts on the date of the closing of their home. I call it their Home Anniversary. For example, earlier this year we closed on a home in historic Story Parkway of Milwaukee which was the buyer of one of my 1st real estate transactions ever, 28 years ago when my office was in Wauwatosa! He listed & SOLD his home with us because I kept in touch with him all these years."
