Who doesn’t love an epic line from a good movie, but can you put this visionary statement into practice for your business? Having a vision is a start, but unless you put steps in place to attract business to your business, your field will see no action. Giving thought to the items below will ensure your pipeline of sales remains strong. 

Decide what kind of business you want to build

The sure way to bring business to your business is to funnel your passions into your profession. Find areas of your professional life that bring personal gratification. For example, if you find pure enjoyment in working with first time homebuyers, become a resource for people looking to purchase a home for the first time. Most likely, they have HGTV guiding their ideas on the home buying process and that could lead to unwelcomed complications. 

Blogging for Your Business

While blogging might seem daunting, it can also be an exciting part of your job. The most challenging part is getting started and deciding what to blog about. The key is to start simple and blog about what you know. Have a new listing, then BLOG about it? Yes, it can be that simple. Adding consistent content to your website lets search engines know your website is relevant, and becomes an opportunity to generate inquiries on your website.   

Share Your Value Proposition

How many times have you seen a friend post on Facebook that they are looking for a good Realtor? Do not forget to share the incredible service you provide to your clients, even if you knew each other in braces.  Remember that true friends share their passion and talents for the benefit of others and they will thank you for it! 

Serve Your Community

Realtors do much more than sell homes.  They truly are community builders and ambassadors for the cities they explore with clients. There is no better way to attract business than becoming a part of and serving something bigger than you. Your local Realtor board is a great way to gather ideas or sign up to participate with your peers in current charitable initiatives. Find opportunities to volunteer your time in service of others and watch your business grow,
